The ENO Doublenest Hammock is marketed as a two-man hammock which is an alternative to a two-man tent. It is comfortable, durable and promises to make your camping trip a dream.
At only 19 ounces it is incredibly lightweight and compact, it can be stored into its 5’x5’ stuff sack and clipped onto your backpack barely adding a noticeable amount of extra weight. It's incredibly easy to set up and take down even for only one person and can be hung in several different ways, even on a stand.
The hammock is 9x6 feet in length and can hold up to 400lbs, making it a great option for either one large person or two smaller people. However, it has been noted that using it as a two-person hammock can be a little less comfortable as you have to be prepared to lie very close to your hammock buddy.
It is made of a “trustworthy material” of 70D High Tenacity Nylon Taffeta which is also incredibly thin. Unfortunately, the hammock does not come with mounting or hanging straps and those will have to be purchased at an extra cost ($29.95) and will also add a little extra weight to your backpack.
It's an open hammock, which does not offer great protection, so it may not be ideal for more serious camping in tougher conditions. There are other models that come with built-in protection which would be a better option if you are intending on camping in varying weather conditions.
Although, in warmer months with a sleeping pad and sleeping bag the ENO Doublenest Hammock is very cosy, and if you are using it as a one-man hammock the extra fabric can be wrapped up to add extra protection.
But all-in-all the hammock is durable, easy to maintain, lightweight, quick-drying, breathable and very comfortable and is well worth the cost and will stand up to any wear and tear.
The hammock also comes in variety of fun colours and patterns, which is always a lot nicer than the bland colours you’d expect from a camping hammock.

The ENO DoubleNest Hammock is made of 70D High Tenacity Teffeta which is a strong and lightweight material.
It has triple stitched body panels and triple stitched anchor loops, with aluminium carabiners with stainless steel snap clips and nautical guide line. It can hold up to 400lbs without any fear of giving way. The durable material means it will stand up to the usual wear and tear that comes with hiking and camping.

The hammock is extremely easy to store, it fits nicely in its 5’x5’ stuff sack that can be attached to any kind of backpack. It is quick-drying and easy to clean, making traveling with this hammock a breeze.
Comfort
Longer and wider hammocks are often the most comfortable and the ENO Doublenest Hammock is no exception. It offers a lot of room if using it as a one-man hammock. Its parachute nylon fabric feels great, even against bare skin. Although not ideal to sleep as a couple the hammock is a great often for lounging as a pair and then sleeping one-man.
Weight
At only 19 ounces the ENO Doublenest Hammock is certainly light and is a competitive weight for a double model. With lightweight parachute-like fabric and ultra-light aluminium carabiners, it is easy to store and carry. But you will have to take into account the added weight of the mounting straps which need to be carried separately, however, these won’t significantly affect the weight of your hammock.
It is important to note that if you are looking to camp in more serious conditions you may have to opt for a heavier hammock, because although the ENO Doublenest is light, it doesn’t offer much protection from the weather. You will need to think about purchasing a hammock with a rainfly and bug net which will add to the weight of your hammock.
