Annapurna Base Camp Trek

A two week adventure on a circular route to the famous Annapurna base camp

One of the most popular destinations in Nepal for outdoor adventure enthusiasts, the trek to Annapurna Base Camp is truly magnificent. The trek consists of two weeks exploring the Himalayas and the opportunity to reach the southern face of Annapurna I peak.

The route is circular and connects Annapurna Base Camp and Poon Hill. The altitude gain is subtle on this trek and so it is relatively easy, even without prior experience.

Reaching the amphitheater created by the Annapurna Himalayan range, called the Annapurna sanctuary, and seeing this in person is absolutely mind blowing. Something you will not soon forget!

Please Note:

This is a teahouse trek. Teahouses are Nepalese mountain lodges that provide basic dorm-like rooms and communal eating spaces.

Tip top trekking experience

March 29, 2020

Visiting the Annapurna Sanctuary has been one of the highlights of my life. I was very nervous joining this trek as I was a solo female and had never trekked at altitude. The team at Mountain IQ were fantastic at answering all my questions and putting my concerns to rest. Once in Nepal, Upendra and the Himalayan Leisure team were just amazing. Our guide, Dorchi, was an absolute hoot and very caring. The whole experience from beginning to end was awesome. Thanks again!
